The Orang National Park is a country wide park in India positioned at the northern bank of the Brahmaputra River within the Darrang and Sonitpur districts of Assam. The Park covers an area of 78.81 km2. It was mounted as a sanctuary in the year of 1985 and declared a countrywide Park in 1999.

It is 15 kilometres off the National Highway 52 near Orang town (Dhansirimukh), that is the closest village that is a further 12 kilometres away. Dhansirimukh is around a distance of 127 kilometres from the capital city of Guwahati.
The nearest railhead is Salonibari & Rangapara. Both Tezpur and Guwahati are connected very well by means of the rail community of India. The nearest airport is at Salonibari, 10 kilometres from Tezpur which is about 80 km from the park in Sonitpur district and around a 140 kilometres from Guwahati.
October to April is the best time to go to the Orang National Park for a visit. Visiting is restrained to the timings of 7:30 – 9:30 am and 2:00-3:00 pm, the park gate remains closed in between.
